Software Used:

Step-by-Step
To start, you will the Moog Sub 37 Editor software. Register your Sub37 at www.moogmusic.com to gain access to the download link. If this is your first time using the Editor software, open it as a standalone program and update the Sub 37 firmware. Open a new project in Logic Pro X. We’ll use a new project so that we understand how the setup works. Later you can go back and try it in a project that you have already startedWhen promoted to choose a track type, choose External MIDI. Then select Use External Instrument Plugin. Use the Audio Input drop-down to choose which input your Sub 37 is plugged into on your audio interface. Your Sub 37 should be connected to your computer using a USB cable. In the MIDI Destination drop-down you should see Moog Sub 37 as a option. Select that and choose a MIDI channel. In the video tutorial I chose channel 1. Click Create to continue. With the newly created track selected, go to Audio FX and select Audio Units>Moog Music Inc.>Sub 37 Editor>Mono The Editor will open and show the curently selected patch on the Sub 37.
From here you can record and edit MIDI that will play back on your Sub 37.
